Hi,

Thanks for your comment on my blog. The pattern in US terms should read as follows:

(Using American crochet terms)

Make 2.

Ch 6. Slip stitch into first stitch to form a ring.

24 single crochet into ring.

Single crochet into each single crochet, increasing every other stitch to get 36 stitches.

1 ch [1 single crochet, 1 double crochet, 7 treble, 1 double crochet 1 slip stitch] 3 times with last slip stitch into 1st ch.

Fasten off.

Join the two pieces.

Hope that helps! I haven't tested the pattern after making the brooch so if you have any probs, let me know and I'll try to help.

Thanks,

Hi! I really like your poppy design :)

But, I'm sort of confused, you mentioned you were using UK terms... so I looked up the UK equivalents to the american terms... and I'm more confused.

for "1 ch [1 dc 1 tr 7dbltr 1 tr 1dc 1ss] 3 times with last ss into 1st ch." do you mean... 1 chain [1 double crochet, 1 triple, 7 double triple, 1 triple, 1 double crochet, 1 slip stitch] 3 times with the last slip stitch into the 1st chain, in american terms?

or do you mean like... treble instead of triple? I'm just really confused :p

Thank you for your time!
